Meet Captain Barnacle and his dastardly companions!
An interactive and educational show packed with puppetry, music and plenty of authentic-looking pirate props. Captain Barnacle's Pirate Show is performed in full costume with lashings of piratical comedy and silliness - audience participation is a must! Interactive and engaging, the show is specially designed to complement primary school KS1 and KS2 topics, creating a perfect springboard into other areas of the curriculum.
Captain Barnacle's Pirate Show runs for around 60 minutes and is followed by a 45 minute educational workshop which investigates the Golden Age of Piracy and some of the less glorious aspects of pirate life: deck-scrubbing, bad diets, flogging, plundering and, for those pirates unfortunate to be taken to Execution Dock, hanging.
