 Booking a Living History Workshop - Click hereto download the booking form - this is for your information only - we will complete a booking form on your behalf and send you a copy.
- Contact Corrine by email or by telephone ((07985 165801) to check dates and discuss any special requirements.
- We aim to return your email or telephone call within 2 working days (please allow extra time during school holidays.)
- We will confirm your booking either electronically (email) or in writing (letter). Please keep a copy of this.
- 1 week before the date of the workshop, the introductory letter should be sent home to parents of participating children. Please ensure that you have written a date 2 DAYS BEFORE THE WORKSHOP at the bottom of the letter - this ensures that all children will be able to participate in the food tasting, whilst keeping the date of the event a surprise. - Payment should by made on the day of the workshop either by cash or by cheque, made payable to 'C Crawford'.
And finally..... - We use the 'art of surprise' to transport the children from the normal school day and place them in a different historical era. Whilst we provide the school with letters to inform parents that an historical workshop will be taking place, we suggest that the date and the details of the event are not mentioned.
- It is recommended that the children are wearing P.E. kits, as they will be changing in and out of costumes throughout the day.
- The children will be tasting authentic food - a permission slip for this is included with the introductory letter to parents.
- We occasionally use face paints during the workshops - permission slips for parents will be included if necessary.
